This boxed set, published to coincide with the China Art in Motion exhibition (Musée-Châtea d'Annecy, June 2017), offers a unique overview of Chinese art today, through the work of artists at the crossroads of animated film and contemporary art. Creating links between an age-old culture and contemporary techniques, and using both with a keen eye for the major issues facing twenty-first-century China, these artists tell the story of a country in the throes of change, with acuity and talent.
